It's working right?
The error might be on your end. I use it daily and it seems to be fine
you mean plugging the card into your computer, adding a playlist then plugging it into Mylo or what exactly?

The mylo simply doesnt do what it says it does. For someone like you who probably just uses it to record yourself j*rkin off...i'm sure its fine..you can use facebook or myspace..youtube is glitchy..but i'm sure this doesnt matter to you since socializing is something your probably not familiar with.

hey, whatever floats your boat but people do use this stuff for other reasons. You really should try to expand your horizons a bit.

Funny how we both came looking for an update at the same time...
And of course, found nothing. No update for two years? Now that's pretty bad. I came here looking to find out how to connect to a wifi adaptor in Ad hoc mode. I'd like to connect to my new work computer which has an unused wireless adapter for internet connectivity. I see that the Com1 had ad hoc mode but the com 2 ??? anyone? Is there an app I can install that will allow me to do this? Oh wait, I forgot. Sony locked the software and then.... REFUSES TO EFFING UPDATE THE EFFING THING!!!! FOR EFFING CRYING OUT LOUD! ARE YOU SERIOUS???????? If you're not going to do anything with it then open the damn thing up so that I can do something with it! Jesus! Can you tell I'm pissed off as hell? |

I agree with Pastor Vor.
Sony, either release a new firmware update which addresses the various problems discussed all over this forum *OR* give us the source code and let us do it. The former assumes you wish to still support the product. The latter assumes you no longer support it in which case you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by your customer's goodwill. |

I agree with you PastorVor. It is driving me nuts and now this new Youtube dilema really has me pissed. If you guys find any work a rounds to get this working again, please let me know!
Just so you know that On Friday, 4/2/10, I again called Sony Customer Service up for the Mylo and started my tour around the world. It always starts in the Philippines and then I eventually escalate it up to the 3rd level which is in the US, San Diego to be exact. I spoke to the customer service guy there, I think his name was Charles. The interesting thing about all these contacts is that I asked if anyone had a Mylo in front of them to demonstrate the problem to no avail. How are these guys supposed to help you when you cant even show them what is going on. He advised that he had everything in his master file? In any case at least I found someone in the states. I was very firm in explaining our predicament again. I told him that there were many of us disgusted by Sony's attitude towards it's loyal customers, especially Sony Mylo customers. He was pretty understanding and said he would check with the Mylo engineers and he would e-mail me back in a couple of days. He also advised what remedies I could go to next in the form of Sony's national customer service contact. That will be the next step. By the way my ref case was # e45106977. I finished by saying that the Ipod Touch was no better than the Mylo but the touch is mega miles from the Mylo in terms of support. Although Apple has older models still out there, all models are supported. He agreed and said he would pass it along. I will let you all know how I make out. Remember guys, power in numbers. Make a call and let them know how you feel. I am not ready to give up the fight yet. As a side note, I will also be posting a complaint on the Youtube site regarding the changes they made. There are many people up there in the same boat from mobile phones to other devices. Youtube has a forum on the main site. |

(This post was posted by me on the myloforums also but I wanted to give you guys an update also)
Just to give you guys an update as promised, I called Sony and actually reached a customer relations representative named Jacob at the Ft. Myers, Florida Facility. He gave me his office number which I will release if we don't get a positive result. I told him the problems with the Com-2, specifically dealing with Yahoo Messenger, Youtube and the fact that there has not been any updates since 2008. I also told him about the myloforums and how members of the forums were waiting for assistance with the unit. He was very receptive to my complaints and conceded that the unit should be supported as it is not that old. He is going to check with the engineering staff for the unit and give me some sort of a solution on Monday or Tuesday. If I do not hear from him by Tuesday night, I was instructed to contact him. I will let you guys know what is happening and what the status is. The information will be posted as soon as I get it so stay tuned..... |
